Sara Steffen

Sara Steffen is the Director of Customer Marketing at Nutanix where she brings customer stories to life. Prior to Nutanix, Sara held a variety of customer marketing and integrated marketing roles over her ten years at Cisco Systems, Inc. She was also an active member of Cisco Connected Women, a professional network that supports the advancement of women at the tech giant. Prior to Cisco, Sara held roles at Silicon Valley Bank/SVB Financial Group, Symantec, and the Santa Cruz Public Defenders office. Shortly after her first child was born in 2009, Sara first learned about diaper need and Help A Mother Out. She has been an active volunteer and supporter ever since, hosting her famous annual holiday drive. She is a mom of two children, and enjoys running, cooking and the occasional DIY house project. She holds a Bachelors of Arts from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
