Claudia Ceseña

Claudia Ceseña is an attorney at Prison Law Office, a nonprofit organization that protects the constitutional rights of people behind bars through advocacy, education, and litigation. She focuses on a statewide class action brought under the American with Disabilities Act on behalf of people with disabilities incarcerated in California prisons. Before joining PLO, Claudia was an immigration attorney at a nonprofit in San Francisco where she provided free legal representation to detained undocumented children. Claudia also worked at an organization that partners with HAMO, and later worked at HAMO as well. Claudia was born in Mexico and grew up in the Bay area. She earned a B.A. in Psychology from U.C. Berkeley, and a J.D. from UC Law SF.  Claudia speaks Spanish. She lives in Oakland.
